Why We Built Blue

We built Blue because we kept seeing the same gap.

Students were achieving.

They were busy.

They were checking the boxes.

But when it mattered most—essays, interviews, recommendations—they struggled to explain who they were and how they had grown.

And by then, it was already late in the process.

Most systems start when students are already being evaluated.

Blue starts before that.

Blue was created by educators and operators who saw the same pattern over and over: Marnie Stockman, Ed.D. and Nick Coniglio.

Marnie began her career as a high school teacher and instructional leader. Nick led technical and operational teams in high-growth companies.

They saw firsthand the gap between student achievement and real-world readiness.

They are also the authors of The Business of You, a book built around the idea that the most important project you'll ever lead is yourself.

Blue brings that idea to life for students—so they can actually do the work, not just read about it.
